Q: Do you take bookings or reservations?
A: All Hakata Gensuke stores do not take reservations. We accept walk-ins only.
Q: I will be there in 30 minutes. Can you tell me how long the wait time is?
A: Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the wait times as anything can happen within 5 minutes. For more info please head to Google and check our stores’ popular times.
Q: I am waiting for a table however my friend(s) are not here yet. Can I proceed to sit down while waiting for them?
A: At Hakata Gensuke we have a policy that you will only be seated when everyone in the group is present.
Q: Can I BYO?
A: Unfortunately due to health and safety regulations, we do not allow any BYO food or drinks into our venues.
Q: Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
A: Some Hakata Gensuke stores do offer limited vegetarian options, for more details you can check our menu at order.gensuke.com.au . Please take note that our kitchen staffs handle both meat and vegetable products simultaneously in the same kitchen.
Q: Do you have gluten free options?
A: Unfortunately we do not offer gluten free options.
Q: Do you serve halal food?
A: Our QV chicken and Northbridge (WA) store does not offer halal options. Whilst the stores don’t serve pork dishes and the chicken meat supplied comes from La Ionica, a halal certified poultry, we use cooking sake to marinate the meat and all our soy sauce contains a small amount of alcohol from fermentation process.
Q: Are you open on public holiday?
A: Please follow our Instagram and Facebook @hakatagensuke or Google page for updates on our operation hours. Please take note that we apply 15% surcharge on public holidays.
Q: Do you take cash / card payment?
A: Yes we do accept both payments. If you wish to pay by cash please proceed to counter to order and pay.
